there is an AWESOME song that y'all play most mornings that I keep missing the name of -- I know Toby Mac is featured on it but I don't think it's "his" song. I heard a song on 93.5 around 2:00 today (4/2/08) that I really liked. It had some other words and then he went into amazing grace. i was walking home the other night and sombody was playing a song quiet lound and i heard it but me or my friend didnt know what it was called. i didnt hear any lyrics but it has a catchy tune, it was quite slow and high pitch, i think its is quiet new and i have heard it before. does this help :) this is the tune (not the lyrics) la la la la la (quick pause then it gets lower and goes) la la la la laaaaa la.

Have you fact checked your latest commercial from John Arthur Eaves (John Eaves, Junior, what ever his current persona)? In it he states that Gov. Barbour is receiving $300K a year from his firm in DC. That is not the case. His blind trust is receiving that money. You may think that is splitting hairs but it is not. Barbour does not own the trust, it is its own entity by definition. Therefore that claim in the ad is false. There have been numerous news stories in all media about this issue as recent a Sis Slater’s piece in the Clarion Ledger today. I know he has purchased the time and you have to run what he sends you. But as is the nature of the political beast, be careful what you air and make sure that it rises to the standards of truth and integrity that Christ embodies and would want your broadcasts to meet in His name.

My son watches Naruto only because I watched it with him and realized that it is so far fetched that it is just ridiculous. My son is a very intelligent, Godly young man who openly shares his belief of Jesus with everyone he meets. As parents we have to realize we must first pour the word of God into our children and equip them to protect their hearts against Satan. Then they can see things for what they are. If they are fake or trying to lead them down a wrong path then it is obvious. This cartoon can not make my son do bad things any more than you watching Law and Order can make you a criminal. I believe each parent needs to know where their kids are emotionally and mentally. They should realize that some children are not mature enough to separate fact from fiction. Children have to be taught to guard their hearts in a secular world because they will be exposed to all sorts of things. I think as parents we are responsible for monitoring, guiding, teaching, leading by example (what are the parents watching????). Just turning off a TV show and may not keep our kids safe…it takes a daily effort and much pray.

I can truly say that God is changing my life for the better on a daily basis, and the inspirational songs I hear on your station is a powerful tool. In order to do that, they have to be in the top 50% of the bands voted on the atlantafest07.artistovation.com website. Traci, I just want to let you know that you have solved an ongoing mystery for me this morning. I have been trying for years to remember the name of the Marathon Bar!!! Everyone I asked thought I was crazy. My grandparents owned a country Supermarket when I was little and I ate every kind of candy imaginable. I loved those growing up and I only had the image of what they looked like and no name. LOL. My husband and I get in these childhood memory debates all the time. The latest one solved or proven was I told him that Kellogs Corn Pops used to be called Sugar Pops and he didn't believe me. I found an old box cover on the internet to prove I am not crazy. He thinks that I just make up words or get confused. So this morning was great for me. Another memory mystery solved. Ha!

I think I heard you worrying about buying a house. If so, please read Susie Orman's book about "The Laws of Money and the Lessons of Life" before you sign on the dotted line. It is a good guide. I have a SONG that I am TRYING to find! It is a guy singing it and it is about a Dad with a little boy and the little boy wants to be just like his dad so the Dad prays the he can be just like Jesus since his boy wants to be like him! It is so beautiful and I can't find it!
