Abstinence Rally in Jackson

May 2008 is designated as National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month. To promote this national campaign in Mississippi, the Division of Economic Assistance has planned the following activities:

May 7, 2008 - “Just Wait” Abstinence Rally
An Abstinence Rally is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2008. Activities will include a press conference, reading of the abstinence proclamation and releasing white balloons on the south steps of the New Capitol.

Well, they started it! MercyMe called before Winter Jam and wanted to play a Star 93.5 listener in the popular game Guitar Hero. Donnie Dear was there to represent Central Mississippi and boy, did he do us proud!!!(all of a sudden all of my grammer classes went out the window...that happens when you talk smack)
